Finding your product

When you connect to our website, there are various ways in which you can search for item you want. Here is a list of the various search methods available on our site.

Find Your Battery:

• In this search you can type in a keyword related to the battery you
  are looking for.

A keyword may be:
Your application i.e. ‘Cordless Phone’ or ‘Camcorder’. Battery size i.e. ‘AA’ or ‘AAA’ Battery manufacturer i.e. ‘Duracell’ or ‘Varta’.

• This will give you a list of batteries related to that keyword.
• If you know the product code for the battery then you can type this here.
  For example:
• BC101686
  This will provide you with the specified battery and/or alternative’s to that battery.

Application Searches:

• If you don’t know the actual product code of the battery, then you can search for all the batteries we stock for various applications such as Camcorders, Hearing aids and Cordless Phones.
• Down the right hand side of the screen the list of such applications. Simply click on the application name which best suits your needs.

• Once you have selected your battery application, then a list of all the batteries we supply which match that application. You can either scroll down the list of batteries (NOTE: some lists are spread over numerous pages. Scroll to the bottom of the page and check if there are ‘Next’ or ‘Previous’ buttons. If there are, then use them to view the next page.), or select the battery you require from the list in the drop down box provided at the top of the page.

• Some applications such as Camcorders, Digital Cameras, Cordless Phones and Mobile phones provide a facility to search for batteries via Make and Model of the device. This facility can be accessed from the top of the first results page after selecting one of the 'Batteries for' Links shown above.

• As with the application searches, these are listed down the right hand side of the screen, these links will take you to the list of products in that area. Once you have found what it is your looking for, follow the procedure below to buy your product.

Purchasing your Product

Step 1:

• Once you have found your product, please check the product description by selecting the ‘More information’ button to the right of the product.
  
• This will then give you a full product description. Once you are happy with the product then you can add it to your shopping basket by selecting the ‘Add to Basket’ button. In this description page.
• If you require more than one of these products then you can enter the quantity into the box provided before selecting the ‘Add to Cart’ button.
• You will now be directed to your shopping cart where you can view the product that you have ordered with the total amount payable indicated in the box below your product list.
• Several options are available to you from the shopping basket:
• To Buy More than one product, enter the quantity you require in the appropriate box and click 'UPDATE CART'.
• You can go 'BACK TO SHOP' to Add More products to your cart or proceed to the 'CHECKOUT'.
• To Remove a product from your shopping cart, click the 'REMOVE' item button alongside the item you wish to remove, this will remove the appropriate item from your basket.

Step 2:

The next step is to select you delivery option. As indicated in the shopping cart, the delivery charge is automatically calculated and will be sent via Standard UK 1st class post. You have the option of Upgrading to 1st Class Recorded post by simply selecting the link as shown below. Your charge will be recalculated automatically:

Once you are satisfied, select the ‘CHECK OUT’ button to proceed to the next stage.

Step 3:

• The next page will verify your order details in the text box at the top of the page. Please check this and proceed to filling in your ‘Billing Details’ and your ‘Delivery Details’ (NOTE: if your ‘Delivery Address’ is the same as your ‘Billing Address’, you can select the check box indicated below, and our system will automatically enter your delivery details).

Step 4:

• You will then be taken to the final step in our checkout procedure. At this screen you will be presented with two options which relate to your chosen method of payment.
• If you select the ‘Click Here To Make Payment Using Credit Card’ button, you will be directed to the WorldPay site where you will be directed to enter your payment details.
• If this is successful, then we will receive an e-mail copy of your order and you will receive confirmation from WorldPay that your payment has been accepted.
• We will then process your order and dispatch your goods as quickly as possible. For information about our delivery policy, see the ‘Delivery Information’ section.
• If you select the ‘Click Here To View and Print your details if paying by cheque’ button, you are directed to a page gives all of your order details.
• You simply print off this page, and send it along with your cheque to us at the address indicated.
