We have tried to make our carriage cost fair and straight forward -- the cost of carriage appears at the checkout stage .

All items sent within the UK are sent by first class Royal Mail or COURIER -- Dependent on weight size and cost

We offer a free upgrade where we feel it appropriate - this is done at our discretion . We usually do this in situations where the items are light in weight in relation to it value . Generally speaking anything over the value of £20 is sent recorded delivery .

An example might be that you order 20 coin cells -- with a total weight of 200 grams so we would charge 84p + vat but because the value is £25 we would normally upgrade to recorded at our cost .

You still have the option to upgrade on your own decision and it has not been unknown for people to choose to upgrade anyway usually for one of two reasons

a) Recorded post tends to be delivered a bit quicker .
b) People have been so impressed that we have cured some particular problem that they pay for the additional service even though they know it is likely to be upgraded
free anyway .
